1. What is your booking and rescheduling policy?
- Non-Refundable Booking Fee: A booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee is non-refundable but allows for a one-time reschedule if you provide at least 48 hours' notice.
- Rescheduling After 48 Hours: If you reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, a new booking fee will be required.
- No-Show Policy: No-shows will be charged 50% of the service amount.
2. What is your late policy?
We ask that clients arrive on time as we run a tightly packed schedule. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a no-show, and the booking fee will be forfeited. Please allow extra time for traffic and parking.
3. Will photos or videos be taken during my appointment?
Yes, photos and videos are taken before and after your treatment for documentation and marketing purposes. These may be posted on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, website, etc.) unless you request otherwise.
4. Can I bring guests to my appointment?
No additional guests, children, or pets are allowed in the studio to maintain safety and hygiene. Drivers can wait in their car, and translators are allowed if needed.
5. Do you offer refunds?
No refunds are provided. We aim for complete satisfaction with our services. If you are unsatisfied, please reach out to discuss potential solutions.
6. What are the qualifications for clients?
To ensure safe and effective results, clients must meet these qualifications:
- Age Requirement: 18 years or older
- Not Pregnant or Nursing
- No Active Skin Cancer
- No Very Sensitive Skin
- No Ongoing Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy
- Not Prone to Seizures or Fainting: Clients with epilepsy should consult their doctor.
- Diabetic Clients: Must provide a doctor’s note with medication details and proof of a controlled diet.
- No Recent Botox Treatments: Avoid Botox for at least two months before your appointment.
7. What should I do to prepare for my brow service?
Follow these pre-service instructions:
- Stop Retin-A or Retinol Products: Avoid using Retin-A or retinol at least 7 days before the appointment and for 30 days after near the brow area.
- Avoid Exercise on Appointment Day: Working out can increase sensitivity.
- No Sun Exposure: Avoid tanning or sunburn before your appointment.
- Avoid Certain Medications: Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, or ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure.
- No Waxing or Tinting: Avoid waxing or tinting at least 3 days before your appointment.
- Be Aware of Menstrual Cycle: Sensitivity may increase during your menstrual cycle.
- Wash Hair Before Appointment: Since you’ll need to avoid water on your brows afterward, it’s best to wash your hair in advance.
8. What are the aftercare instructions?
For optimal healing and results, follow these aftercare steps:
- Avoid Water: Do not get your brows wet on the day of the procedure.
- Apply Ointment: Begin using a thin layer of ointment the day after, applying it twice daily with a clean Q-tip.
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your brows from direct sunlight and avoid sweat-inducing activities for at least one week.
- Shield in the Shower: Use a shield to keep water from directly hitting your brows.
- No Makeup on Brows: Refrain from applying makeup on or near the brows until fully healed.
- Avoid Picking or Scratching: This may cause scarring or uneven pigment.
- No Harsh Skincare Products: Do not use skincare products on or near your brows during the healing period.
9. What can I expect after the procedure?
After your procedure, here’s what to expect:
- Initial Redness or Discomfort: Mild redness or discomfort is normal for the first two days.
- Darkening Color: The color will appear darker for about five days due to oxidation.
- Natural Color Blending: After healing, the color will blend naturally with your brow hairs.
- Healing Stages: Brows will go through a flaking stage, during which the color may look faded. As healing progresses, the color will gradually reappear.
10. When should I schedule a touch-up?
A touch-up is recommended within 5-90 days after your procedure to ensure lasting results. Proper aftercare and timely touch-ups help maintain your brows' vibrancy and longevity.
